Carrie Faust, MJE, advises the Summit yearbook, SmokyNow.com and Next magazine at Smoky Hill H.S. in Aurora, Colo. Her staffs have earned five CSPA Silver Crowns, a Gold Crown for the 2014 yearbook, two NSPA Pacemakers, Gold Medalist and All-American critiques, and many state and local awards. A JEA Medal of Merit recipient in 2013, Faust was a JEA Rising Star in 2008, a JEA Distinguished Yearbook Adviser in 2009 and the CHSPA Teacher of the Year in 2011.
Erinn Harris, MJE and yerd for the last 23 years, advises Techniques yearbook, tjTODAY magazine, tjTODAY Online and TJTV at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Va. Her staff has earned CSPA Silver Crowns, an NSPA Pacemaker, Gold Medalist and All-American critiques, and many state and local awards. JEA named Harris a Rising Star in 2010, a Special Recognition Adviser in 2014 and a Distinguished Adviser in 2016, and became a CSPA Gold Key recipient in 2016.
Meghan Percival, CJE, teaches photojournalism and AP Psychology and advises The Clan yearbook staff at McLean High School in Fairfax County, Virginia. The Clan staff has been recognized with the NSPA Pacemaker and CSPA Gold Crown and was inducted into the NSPA Hall of Fame. She received a Gold Key from CSPA in 2013 and was a 2014 JEA Distinguished Adviser. Meghan loves helping staffs work on theme, coming up with new coverage ideas and hanging out with other yerds.
